My own personal theory on breastfeeding is "do it 'till the kid gets teeth"
Well, on top of all of Zain's other oddities, there was a little white spot on his gums when he was born. For an instant I thought, "Is that a tooth?" and then didn't give it a second thought ... until last night. After a particularly vigorous feeding, I was thinking, "why is this so hard? Isn't it supposed to get easier?"
And the thought about that white spot popped into my head. I put a finger in his mouth to check it out, and I'll be damned, I swear the sucker was born with a tooth!!
Not really looking for an excuse to stop breast feeding, I will stick to my theory, and wait until he has "teeth." I won't count the one "tooth."
And at least it's just barely poking through. The poor kid gets to go through teething already. Good thing he is a tough guy.

A lot of the Natives up here have babies born with two bottom teeth. Freaky-deaky!
I am not a lover of breast feeding either. I did it with Ethan for 5 months and I lasted a week with the twins. Do what works for you guys and don't listen to what anyone else thinks.
Wild!
I wish it was a bottom tooth, at least his tongue would go over it.
Zain is very advanced.
It is a top tooth!! Holy Cow - he is like Edward and Bella's vampire baby that grew so quickly!! Watch out!
Buffy, that's so funny - I just finished that book. It does seem like he is bigger everyday...but no telepathic powers have manifested, yet. All babies are like little vampires...sucking the life from their mothers. But we still love them.
Are you sure you didn't sneak off to the tenderloine on one of your little walks and end up fooling around with one of the choice individuals there? Does your mom read this blog?
No, I have have heard of babies spouting teeth weeks after they were born. I can't wait to meet this amazing little creature!
If so delete my comment
do vampires hang out at the tenderloin? I mostly just saw a lot of bums and crack-heads on my way to work there...
